Class description:

This class is pitched at an Intermediate - Advanced level student who already has good knowledge of all the basic Tambour Beading stitches but would like to improve and learn new techniques. The first part of the class will be a summary of Level 1 and 2.

The second part of the class will be introduction of the Vermicelli - a technique invented by François Lesage.  The constant changes of direction within the technique will allow you to practise twisting the hook efficiently.

We will also learn how to couch a thread or a ribbon and practise Tambour Beading on a non transparent fabric.

The aim of the class is to learn how to change direction efficiently and to do Tambour Beading on non-transparent fabric.

Please note that if you would like to pursue this technique and move on to the next level it is recommended to practise tambour beading in between the classes.

This class includes a kit with white silk organza and silk satin, glass beads, buggles, sequins, metallic thread and silk ribbon.

Please note that tambour hooks are not included in the kit and will be available to purchase during the class.
